Endless Star Ocean

I wonder if the moons gravitational pull on the earth is captivating me and pulling me toward it.
At night when the moon rises and the stars fill the sky with an ocean, I stay awake.
My heart feels illuminated by the light reflected off of the moon.
My eyes are bright with a cosmic wonder of the universe.

I think of you.

When the moon sets, busy minds awaken. My mind still floats in the twilight.
It still drifts quietly in a starry ocean. A symphonic wave still fills my ears.
That wave is your voice that emanates from the brightened moon.

The night, how wondrous. You make it never end.

  1. This was my favorite part:
"My eyes are bright with a cosmic wonder of the universe.

    I think of you."

I am always amazed at just how big and beautiful God is. It is so humbling to see all the wonders He has created, and then to think that He loves us so much more, that He created everything for us to see His majesty, that we may know Him.

Although at first I obviously considered "I think of you" to mean how we see the wonders around us and think of God, I think it is equally true that God, in full awareness of the expanse of all He's created, thinks of us. Absolutely mind blowing.

We should star gaze some time. :)

  2. You're right. You really should hack my computer and block all non-chem-related sites :p
Because here I am, procrastinating, as usual, and this is where my adventure took me. But I'm not signing in to msn. Too risky. P.S. I realized I like Expialidocious more... I'm listening to it now.
But anyway. I haven't been commenting for a while. I'm a bobo (ok I'm going to write down the Jamaican words on my hand. I don't think I got that one right).

My insomniac buddy. I read some spooky article about how to fool your body into getting used to only 2-3 hours of sleep a day. It was interesting. All about REM and twilight and stuff. I should sent it to you.
Aaaanyway. I should stop procrastinating. Now. I already told you I find this amazing. So enough head-inflating for you.
