A Marriage, A Union

You are Mermaid Sashimi, and he's the food critic.
Live a lie. I'm glad I found my truth.

My eyes can't see past the horizon,
and yet my grim determination pursues the future.
This gaze is set to the final extremity.
The utterance of my life.

If only you could see the dream that I see.
It's a vision that hinders the thoughts of my mind,
that hinders the beat of my heart.
And yet I want it all the same.

God I'm ready to sleep, but keep me awake before I reach the horizon.
So I can leave a trail behind me.

My intrepid resolution -

- Fall into my open arms again and again.
Build a nest in the warmth of my beating heart and then,
Rip into the confines of my chest and plant your soul inside.
Eat away and share with others the things that we confide.
You were the sole harbinger of my demise,
and yet I walked forward beside the lord of flies.
The day I gave death the Kansas City shuffle
is the day I learned that your cries of love,
were truly only lust in the voice of a muffle.

It's hard for me to love a race that constantly dissapoints me with their selfish lifestyles.
Empty words, shallow eyes, and the mind of an introvert.
How do I stop myself from lashing out?
I watch the people who claim they are Christians.
I watch as they outwardly exclaim their love for God and forget to truly inwardly exclaim such a love.
Growing tired of one thing and wanting another thing.
People seek to acquire, where as I seek to lose.
Christians..God-lovers. You look to make a profession out of your love.
You seek to gain money by using your Creator.
I pray I die with nothing that this planet has to offer me, because it is all fake.
What is the next chapter in my life?
I think the next chapter in my life is the sequel to my bitter heart. To lash out, and strike at a world I cannot stand.
I hope the closing chapter is a heart filled with love, eased by the hands of He who created me.

Taste of The Silver Tongue

Never kiss a silver-tongued musician. You’ll only end up choking on their silver tongue, tipped with the most deadly poison of all - empty promises. Never make a promise, kids, unless you intend to go down with it. Never search for love, it’s already with you. Thank You, Father, You eye-opener! You think your mortal darling will follow you beyond the grave? You think the way it feels is important, but it’s not. Satan tempts you with a feeling of monolithic proportions, a feeling that is embodied by the human “love”. Don’t mistake that lust for something real. Guard your heart like there’s some wild, heart-eating giraffe running rampant. Rely on the only true love, God’s love. When you hear the words, “I love you.” from another, don’t take that to the grave. It may be what placed you there in the first place. In the famous words of Forrest Gump, “That’s all I have to say about that.”

P.S. - You Silver-tongued girl, you know who you are. Who needs water when you can swallow the lies you puke.

Sæglópur + + +

I was just going to post the Sæglópur video, but I really thought I'd add in some more for your listening pleasure. =)

Probably one of the most well-known Sigur Rós songs, but one of the most beautiful.
If you don't have the song, you should get it, go outside, find a place to watch the stars, and drink in the sound. Enjoy.

Mark Kroos FTW! Sounds great.

I Dont Want To Set The World On Fire by The Ink Spots

Oh..my apologies, that was the Fallout 3 intro. Cram it, Danya! Seriously though, listen to this song by the Ink Spots, and then go out and play Fallout 3..I don't care if you don't like video games. The story and intense size is amazing. /end geekout>
